The 2.02 maintenance release is now

Full source is available now for both BOOM
2.02 and PRBoom 2.02
Here's a list of the changes that have been
included in maintenance release 2.02:
- Improve internal automatically generated
blockmap routine for >64K blockmaps (64K: 32 sec down to 4.6 sec)
- Remove yet another form of "slime
trail" cause by roundoff errors during node building on complex wads
- Fix a couple of errors in BOOMREF.TXT
- Remove obsolete low-detail routine
- Allow endgame to quit from demo recording
- Prevent quickloading a savegame while demo
recording
- Prevent loading a savegame while demo
recording
- Prevent start of a new game while demo
recording
- Fix misalignment in reading demos between
v2.00 and v.201
- Correct extra space in chat string keyword in
defaults table
- Fix syntax error caught by GCC v.2.8.1
- Fix inadvertantly deleted sidedness check
- Fix par times limit error in BEX files
- Added mnemonics for specifying Thing
characteristics ("bits") in BEX files
- Fixed map names and intermission texts for
Final DOOM's Plutonia Experiment and TNT:Evilution
- Made command line parameter smarter, no need
for -file, -deh, -playdemo switches if file extensions are given
- Made -warp with no level number go to the
first new level in any wads loaded on the command line
- Fixed corpse queue bug that would sometimes
not allow pickup of weapons after map changes.
- Friction code modified to allow movement when
stuck in DM starts
- Fixed slow underwater action when plasma,
fireballs, etc. were fired.
- Fixed possible crash (original DOOM error)
when player start was exactly on a vertex.
- Made a logical console output system for all
output strings
- Fixed IDCLEV error for non existent MAP33/34
in DOOM2
- Fixed "Raise to shortest texture"
linedefs
- Fixed tendency of monsters to get stuck in
doorways (old DOOM bug)
- Fixed openings limit removal
- Flicker saved in savegames
- Scrolling message display initialization
improved
- Fixed update lag on HUD for slower systems
- Improved demo padding sizes
- Stair building code made to use the old buggy
DOOM code if compatibility is on.
- Changes to SERBOOM.EXE to avoid lag problems
while playing, and sync issues.
- Saved sound targets across saved games
- CMAPTOOL enhanced to generate a BMP that
makes editing by hand easier
